I know the Toronto Raptors are hot right now and won 7 of 8 games,but i still have a bone to pick with coach triano.. we are almost to the half way mark for the season and mr triano is still trying to please all the players on the raptors roster,if things continue in this way i don’t see our raptors making the playoffs at all, i know many will disagree but it is what it is.
The way i see if if we are to make the playoffs coach Triano needs to play the guys who are playing well at that time,if you have 7 or 8 guys who are playing well then stick to those throughout the game and not put a player in because you want to keep him happy.This season i have seen this happen too many times and all it does is ruin the flow of the raptors game.In this league you win with the players with the hot hand.. case in point the NBA finals last year where Rafer Alston was the hot hand for the orlando magic but Stan Van Gundy went with Jameer Nelson instead and we all know what happened next .. lakers won the championship because coach was trying to give his buddy some playing time (joke).
I know there is somebody out there that would agree with me on this issue,i am posting this entry because of my frustration with the decisions Jay Triano makes during the games ,i am sure he is a good coach but damn man stop kissing so many asses !

So you are giving hm a 2/10 based on your perceptions that he has to please all his players by giving them playing time? What about a few weeks ago when Antoine Wright was riding the bench, or before that Belleneli was getting 3 mins/ game?
as far as i am concerned Antoine Wright should stay buried on the bench ..
as for grading him 2/10 thats kinda harsh even though i am not big on triano.. but he is still trying to find the right mix of players that would give max production.
The way Antoine Wright is playing he should never come off the bench .. as for Triano i may be a lil harsh but the fact is most of the season so far he has been a players coach .. recently he may have shortened the bench ..CommentJason wrote:
